Safe Internet Day (GIG) is organized every February by the INSAFE / INHOPE partner network, with the support of the European Commission, to support the safe and positive use of digital technologies, especially among children and young people. Millions of people who attend the Safe Internet Day, celebrated on the second day of the second week of the second month of each year, come together to inspire positive change, raise awareness of online security issues and participate in events around the world.
